The Lebanese band Adonis released the song “Hafdal Aghani”, in cooperation with the Lebanese star Marita El Helani.
The work was filmed in the French capital, Paris, between the streets and metro stations, and the video was signed by director Elie Salama, during which Marietta plays the role of a mysterious spy pursuing the band members.
The song “Hadfadl Agni” is written and composed by Anthony Adonis, the band’s lead singer, and arranged by Omar Shomali. It mixes the Egyptian and Lebanese dialects in the first joint work between Adonis and Marietta El-Helani.
The band stated: "Marita's artistic identity has always attracted us. She has her own singing charisma and a presence that contains a lot of calm and confidence. Collaborating with her on this work was a beautiful opportunity to expand our musical horizons."
Meanwhile, Marita El-Helani said: “I am a fan of the Adonis band, and I was very happy with this collaboration that mixes two different musical styles. I believe that the artistic vision from which this work began was successfully translated into the song as well as the video clip.”
The release of the duet “I Love It, I Sing” coincides with Adonis Band’s European concert tour, and the song also comes at the beginning of the band’s new album, which is scheduled to be released in the coming months.
The anticipated album comes nearly a year and a half after the release of Adonis's sixth album, "Hadith al-Layl," which included nine songs, including "Exceptional" and "Bas Bhalal."
The song also follows echoes of the popular success that met with the song “Diaries”, the latest release by Marita El Helani, who is currently busy filming her latest dramatic experiences starring in a new series.
