Dialogue - Marwa Gali Hassan

The young artist Ahmed Wagih is an artist who has achieved distinguished successes with his honesty in diagnosis and his attention to detail in every role he plays, even if it is a small role, in the artistic arena. He presented a number of wonderful works that won the admiration of the audience, and left his mark through his active presence, his sense of humor, and his brilliance in every work he plays. He is known more for his participation in several worksIt achieved great success, including Critical Moments 3, By An Actor, The Second Gate, and The Fugitive 2. He also participated in many works that were considered among the prominent, successful, and powerful brands that gained the admiration of his fans and admirers through social media, and which left his own mark through him because he is an artist who is strongly present with his sense of humor. And his brilliance in every work he doesThrough his acting, his artistic talent was revealed and his stardom began to shine, because he was confident in his tremendous artistic potential and the newspaper “Voice of My Country in America” had a special interview with him as follows:

In the beginning we learned about your life?
I am Ahmed Wagih, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Tourist Guidance from Helwan University. I also obtained a diploma in theatrical arts, Acting and Directing Department, Academy of Arts. I started the acting profession in 2006, and I was lucky to work at the beginning of my life with names of value and stature, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I decided to work as “Shift Carrier.” “I worked as a managerWorks for stars helped me succeed because I was acting in a movie with details of the profession and how to manage a star project At the beginning of your artistic career, you dealt with star artists, including Nabila Obaid and Tayseer Fahmy.

Why did you not think that you would pursue your acting talent?
There is no doubt that the profession of acting is a very enjoyable profession for everyone who practices it, and it may also be similar to the soul that gives him the ability to live.” For me, I was very lucky that I was one of the first people of my generation to work by standing in front of the camera opposite the big stars.. But behind the scenes of the acting profession, especially the finances, it is very difficult at the beginning of the road, especially since “when I started, there were not as many works that enter the season as at the present time. I mean, it is very large that about 8 or 10 works can compete in the season” compared to the present time, where 30 or 10 works can compete in the season. 40 series per season and this was not providedThe actor has a wide spread and diversity in roles. “And certainly his followers hinder the idea of material things, which is sure to be important for any young man starting his life.” He has important requirements and obligations. This is what prompted me to postpone the realization of the dream for a temporary period and start implementing it in a purely professional manner, knowing that in the time between my work as an actor And my job as a business manager took a toll on meMyself and my talent with tools and approaches that help implement the dream into reality.

What is the reason for your comparison between acting and business management, and why did you choose Nabila Obaid
specificallyFrom my point of view, there is no comparison between acting and business management because I see that the artist “cannot occupy his mind with the matters of his work or life,” and he must focus on implementing the characters that he will present to his audience according to his talent and tools as an actor: “How will he talk? How will he walk? What will he take the character from? " As for business management, it depends on continuous thinking: How do I make the artist at the peak of his glow at all times, regardless of his age stage, meaning where he is located? “He apologizes for what and goes on an occasion for what?”: The proof of my words is that the most successful stars “you find them not knowing anything about their personal lives, like, for example, the big star Ahmed El Sakka, who, when I asked in Interview about his household expenses, told them to ask my manager, I take an allowance from him, and the truth is that he is not exaggerating” because One of the artist's business management tasks is to coordinate with..Accountant in the Financial Affairs Department. As for working with a star with the value and history of Nabila Obaid, it is not a choice for the reason that she is a valuable personality who has imposed herself with her history, her works that she studies, and her permanent stardom. Outside of art, she is also able to attract you to practical cooperation with her because she is a star who is aware of every letter she utters and respects her profession. And points of viewShe appreciates all generations and does not skimp on giving advice to anyone, just as she takes the opinions of others. So I am not ashamed to say that I learned a lot from her and she added more to me about the concept of a star. I mean, “You can say that she untied a knot and I started, and I often get asked to manage the work of other artists, but at a point it is imposed on you.” You can turn your back on someone and apologize to whomever you don't know yetThe name is Nabila Obaid. It is not easy for you to be able to cooperate with anyone and that’s it.”

After portraying several characters, why did you not think about going deeper and studying at a theater arts institute or a cinema institute to increase talent?
I actually studied for two years at the Academy of Arts, specifically at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Acting and Directing, and from the first year I had the good fortune to enter the school of the great director “My Father of the Spirit,” Mr. Ali Abdel Khaleq, and join the series “The Second Gate,” and it was a very great experience, especially since it brought together stars. From all countriesArabic, “Not only that.” I am next to the Institute of Dramatic Arts. I had the honor to learn the foundations of the profession from very great professors such as the late professor Nour Al-Sharif, Dr. Ali Khalifa, Dr. Rafiq Al-Sabban, Dr. Hassan Attia, the great artist Ahmed Maher, director Hassan Youssef, and other great professors that we need. For pages to mention their names and inCurrently, I have thought about doing postgraduate studies at the Academy of Arts in the field of directing, and soon, God willing, I will implement my decision.

What was the most difficult work for you in your professional career?
Dramatically and cinematically, “I did not meet the work, which I can tell you was difficult for me.” But I can say that every work had a fear of the cast of the work for the director of the work, as it is not easy to stand in front of a director the size of Ali Abdel Khaleq or a director like Tayseer Abboud, Youssef Sharaf El-Din, or Ahmed Saleh or Sherif Arafa, of course, while remembering their titles, they are all great professorsI learned a lot from them. Artist Ahmed Wagih, tell us about your cooperation with directors Ali Abdel Khaleq, Mohamed Hamdy, and Tayseer AbboudI have actually worked with a large number of directors who, no matter how much I talk about them, I will not be able to do them justice, but Professor Ali Abdel Khaleq, for example, is unparalleled, neither practically nor personally. He knows how to get all the energy out of you and at the same time. It is preferable for you to have the ability to present something new every day than the day before. The actor can stand even if it is his first time standing in front of a camera. In my first job and the first time I stood in front of the camera, and because he was convinced of me, he put me at a start time of 3 seconds, and this is something that professionals in the profession say. “It keeps you waiting for the moment you receive the order to photograph and remain extremely sad with the word Farkash. This is truly one of the people about whom you can say that they are a legend that will not be repeated.” And Professor Tayseer Abboud, the director outside the location, is a friend, brother, and father, and inside the location, “Oh, woe to the one who is not responsible.” And I was suggesting I had some notes with him, even if he wasn't convinced of what he saidYou say that he will convince you, but he will not refuse and end the discussion. As for Professor Mohamed Hamdi, I may not have been fortunate enough to deal with him much because at the time we worked together, it was at the beginning of the events of the January Revolution, so there was no space for conversations or learning because he was at a time from the production company that required the work to be delivered quickly.

_And did you learn from standing in front of acting giants in your previous works?
Of course, you realize the difference between a real star, an actor, and an ordinary star, and standing in front of stars in the truest sense of the word taught me that there is an actor who is a “literal” actor, which is a common term in art, meaning that he may not be 100% talented, but he has tools with which he can compensate for the missing part of the talent, and he does not underestimate him, on the contrary. It can vary and be colored according to each personalityI also learned very easily in my studies that there are many approaches to acting, such as Stanislavski, François Delizarte, and Maizener, but in order to choose the approach of the character that we will present well, it was necessary to stand in front of the giants in order to understand how and on what basis they choose their roles.

_What are the events that influenced your personality and were the reason for your success?
Being inside the plateaus since I was a two-year-old or three-year-old child with my mother is one of the things that made me start dreaming about the world. Today, thank God, I was able to have a respectable name inside so that you can imagine that a child of no more than two years enters the position of Youssef Shaheen, Samir Saif, and Ashraf. Fahmy and Atef Al-Tayeb are following the stardom of Nabila Obaid and AhmedSmart, Adel Imam, and the stars of a time that, in my opinion, will never be repeated. I love this world in my soul, and it was one of the most important reasons that made me succeed and belong to the makers of the artistic community in general.

_ Did you achieve any of your artistic dreams as you wished?
Unfortunately, in the field of acting, “no, this is due to very many reasons.” The first of which is the existence of the idea of paralysis, not only in work, but also in official competitions and local festivals. One of the most important reasons is also the openness of the artistic scene to everyone, meaning that there are people who, if you tell them, for example, that their appearance is acceptable, will go home and decide in the morning. He has to act and be a star, it doesn't matterWhat will he offer then? The important thing is that it creates crowding in the arena and this hinders the seriously talented people from reaching their places, because the seriously talented artist has no idea of accepting insult, but unfortunately there are people who impose insults on the talented person and on themselves. Finally, the will of God delayed this because he always carries the best.

_What are the works closest to your heart in your artistic career?
I love “The Second Gate” very much and it is the closest to my heart because it was the first dramatic experience I presented and its atmosphere was for me the beginning of realizing a dream in terms of the warm and family atmosphere. After it, “The Fugitive 2” is also one of the works that I love very much because this was the first time I worked with the beautiful woman with the white heart. Tayseer Fahmy This is another topicA human being, a sister, a friend, and a mother, and to tell the end of your life about a character is easy and impossible-What obstacles did you face in your artistic career? It is not called a journey now, but later on, this may be said, although I see that the word artistic journey is only used about the stars of the good old days, but currently no one has reached their glory to be called a journey. As for the obstacles, I have no problems or obstacles in the small path that I walked, but I promise if obstacles appear. I will tell you immediately.

_What annoys you the most in the artistic scene and on social media during this period?
I swear to God, all of the social media itself gets angry, for sure, just like me, like anyone else who gets angry at those who create trends by forcefully imposing half the talent on the scene in order to remove views from me, you, and others under the name of content, and the least characteristic of most of them is that they are failures, useless, and do not benefit anything.

- Finally, a word addressed to the family of Sawt Biladi newspaper in America?
