The mother is honored by the monotheistic religions

Without the mother, human life would not have appeared on the face of the earth, and that is why the mother had a great position in all heavenly laws because of her great role in the continuation of human life and in preserving the descendants of human beings from extinction.

The Bible mentions many recommendations for children, including what came in Exodus 12:20, honor your father and mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the earth, which the Lord your God gives you.

Your wife is like a fruitful vine on the sides of your house, your banks are like olive trees around your table (Psalm 3:120).

The destroyer of his father and the expeller of his mother is a shameful and disgraced son (Proverbs 19:26).

And we find that the birth of the Lord Christ elevated the status of motherhood to the highest position and made it a center of attention. The last thing Jesus did on the cross was that he entrusted his mother to John the Beloved as a precious deposit for him to take care of.

And the mother in the Holy Qur’an is the source of tenderness, care and giving. Rather, she is a river of tenderness embodied in the image of a human being. God Almighty commanded to honor her and forbade her disobedience and suspended his satisfaction with her consent as He commanded good companionship with her and treating her kindly. Thank me and your parents to him destiny.

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: A man came to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and said: O Messenger of God, who is most deserving of my good companionship? He said: Your mother. He said: Then who? He said: Your mother. He said: Then who? He said: Your mother. Then who, your father said.

Al-Qurtubi says in this hadith that the mother's love and pity for her should be three times the love of the father, because of the pains of pregnancy, childbirth, breast-feeding and upbringing.

Our Holy Prophet recommended women, and he said, “I recommend you good women, and be kind to the bottles. Happy new year to the mother and the woman in general, health, happiness, bliss, pleasure, love and peace.”
