Normalization: It is an attempt to give a natural formula to a phenomenon that has its own specificity and uniqueness, so that this phenomenon appears as if it belongs to a general, recurring pattern to which it does not belong in reality.
Arab cultural activity in resisting normalization is a matter that serves national interests, because Israel seeks to take all peace gains while maintaining the occupation and the policy of aggression. Unfortunately, some Arab politicians, under the influence of external pressures, hastened to normalization under the misleading slogan that it serves the peace process.
And if the Zionist movement and many in Israel call for greatness, then no one has the right to prevent the politician or the intellectual from calling for the historical rights and glory of the Arab nation.
The peace process within the framework of achieving our interests should not be viewed as a matter of suspicion, because such a view lacks objectivity.
The contraction under the pretext of historical rights constitutes an impenetrable barrier to movement towards those rights, and we must always proceed from the conviction that liberating the land is much better than remaining under occupation, provided that the liberation is not formal and leads to an actual expansion of the area of occupation.
Abba Eban is considered the Israeli Foreign Minister. The former, one of the prominent leaders of the Labor Party, was the first to use the phrase “normalization,” after the June war of aggression that was ignited by the Israeli enemy in 1967.
Normalization, according to Ababyan's concept, means the establishment of normal relations away from an atmosphere of war and fighting, and in an atmosphere of cooperation and peace.
The enemy, the Israeli, is constantly demanding normalization of relations with the Arabs without changing its Zionist ideology and its goals in establishing the Great Israel at the expense of Arab land, rights and wealth.
It also deals with the settlement process with great contempt and arrogance and terrorist, settlement and racist practices that are unparalleled in the world at all.
And Israel mocks normalization to reshape the Arab mind and push it against it.
First: Acceptance of the Israeli existence at the expense of the Arab existence and right.
Second: Adopting Jewish myths, legends, allegations and lies.
Third: Abandoning the constants of the Arab struggle and questioning the feasibility of adhering to national identity and Arab unity
Fourth: Abandoning the resistance to the Israeli occupation and colonization, and describing the legitimate resistance as terrorism.
Fifth: Acceptance of the Israeli conditions and dictates for the economic establishment of Great Israel from the Euphrates to the Nile, according to their belief.
The normalization that is being imposed and marketed is not normalization in its peaceful sense. The Zionists planned normalization in its colonial sense to end the Palestinian issue with Israeli conditions and dictates, impose Israeli hegemony on Arab economies, and disrupt the peace process if it did not guarantee Israel superiority and dominance.
And Israel, with the full support of the United States, is tempting some Arab parties to accept full normalization in exchange for giving them some roles in the region to dwarf the conflict and fuel competition for regional roles, so that all of them are in the interest of Israel and at the expense of Arabism and Islam.
And some Arab countries began to see that normalization with the Zionist enemy constitutes a protection for their regime and brings them the approval of the United States of America and international Judaism.
Cultural normalization represents the main pillar of the Israeli penetration in the region, because it is deeper and more stable than any security arrangements, such as demilitarized zones, the placement of international forces, electronic warning devices, and other arrangements. Cultural normalization remains the decisive factor in the long run, because the conflict is rooted in awareness Peoples, their culture, their collective memory, and their national conscience, so the process of shaking convictions, destroying the foundations of national memory, and penetrating historical and religious constants and civilization is difficult without building bridges of communication and cultural normalization. Hence, the Zionist strategy and its contemporary manifestations were based on an attempt to remove hostility from the Arab conscience, mind, and memory, as a complement to disarmament. The resistance, which is the mission that is included in the political and security agreements and a strategic necessity around which the intellectual consensus in Israel has gathered. The planners and implementers pay attention to it.
Israeli scientific research centers, universities, institutes and academic bodies, such as the Arab Jewish Center at the University of Haifa, rooted and theorized it.
The Institute of Human Studies at the University of Haifa, the Institute of Arab Studies, the Center for Strategic Studies at Tel Aviv University, and the International Center for Peace in the Middle East.
The insistence of the Zionist enemy on normalization, especially in the cultural field, stems from its realization that this field is qualified and capable of polluting Arab thought and national popular culture.
And pumping distorted concepts and perceptions of the value, principles and national character.
Normalization in the cultural field aims at practical application.
Rewriting the civilized history of our Arab region by falsifying many historical facts and axioms related to the settler-colonial method that forced the Zionist entity into the Arab world, where it established its state, Israel, on Arab land in Palestine with the displacement of the majority of its people.
Stop teaching literature, documents, and texts hostile to Jews, Zionism, and the State of Israel, including those contained in some holy books such as the Holy Qur’an, in application of Article Five of the Camp David Accords..The third item..as Israel intensified its scientific efforts to monitor, record, and analyze the Islamic concepts affecting the conflict with Zionism as one of the most prominent aspects of the structural elements of the Arab mentality.
To become enemy universities and centers of research and scientific reference studies for the entire region, so as to establish the Zionist project, aimed at destroying the culture and civilized identity of the entire Arab region, but rather causing disintegration and chaos within every Arab country by fueling the spirit of rivalry between those belonging to different religions, sects, sects and groups on the one hand,
And by trying to achieve cultural, scientific and technical control on the other hand.
Peres, writing in The New Middle East, expressed that power in the coming decades is in the universities and not in the barracks, which is an intense summary of the Zionist strategy in this field.
This strategy is based on stripping the nation of its culture in order to become similar to the culture of the entity that resides in its heart.
without a unified culture.
Cultural normalization aims to destroy the inherent foundations of Arab culture and civilization, and this is why it is, according to the enemy's experts, researchers, and leaders, the most important and most urgent element.
In imposing Zionist hegemony on the Arabs and making them surrender completely as an expression of civilizational defeat
The national collapse...
Thus, the Zionist concept of normalization is the umbrella under which everything that guarantees it is committed. That is, for Zionism.. to achieve its expansionist goals and strategic goals in plundering the resources of the Arab world, controlling its capabilities, dismantling and abolishing Arabism, and destroying our heritage, history, and future.
As for the Zionist methods, means, and programs used to achieve these dangerous goals, they are highly radiant, diverse, overlapping, and innovative.
It is well known that normalization comes within an international scheme in which global Zionism, Israel and many Western institutions and organizations participate, through a strong focus on undermining facts that have been for decades a basis for Arab national culture. It is not possible to study the sectarian phenomenon that has escalated in recent years in the Arab world.
In isolation from the influence of those suspicious parties and circles that spread what might be called the culture of sedition.
To the extent that it directly contributed to the preparation of a number of elements of collapse and deterioration that penetrate the nation
The culture of sedition is based on unearthing grudges, grudges, and elements of tension in society, and spreading a culture of deepening antagonism, rivalry, disagreement, and fighting between groups.
different within the nation
This penetration takes the form of promoting values and relationships that directly destroy the immunity of Arab culture.
Such as attacking the Arab mind and the Arab personality, and questioning the Arab nation and its civilized identity.
And promoting the allegations of Zionism and the hateful populist currents that insist on renewed allegations, such as saying that the Arabs are just a move to civilization, or translators, or they do not have a scientific, analytical, critical mind.
The one Arab culture and one Arab nation is just an illusion and a myth.
The Zionist mind has come to realize that if the Arab culture is difficult to penetrate because of its ancient roots and the durability of its resistance, it therefore resorted to an easier and easier way to penetrate some Arab intellectuals who could be used as tools to dismantle the fortress of Arab culture and tamping its foundations from within.
This penetration takes various forms and methods of normalization and the liquidation of sources or wellsprings of hostility in Arab political thought.
And an attempt to abolish the so-called negative character prevailing in the Arab nationalist ideology towards Israel and Zionism.
Creating an intellectual base for communication and direct dealing with some intellectual and political forces, organizations, groups and elites.
