Dr.. Muhammad Dabbasha
When we calibrate one philosophy over another philosophy with a different vision, we can come up with the lessons learned from both philosophies, and we can also, through what each philosophy proposes, choose what is suitable for actual application on the ground if we want the ideas of the previous ones to come to life again and develop what is known. According to the current situation full of science and knowledge.
If we usually tend toward idealism in everything and hope to find the world as it should be, we must develop concepts of idealism that are subject to the laws of the ability to achieve, not idealism that sweeps us away without ability or knowledge of the events taking place on the ground that have changed many concepts. It must be reviewed according to the philosophy of time and place.
Hence, it can be said that we can build an ideal philosophy that relies on values and ambition and looks at the material world from a materialistic perspective as well, so that we can adapt to it and not have fallen behind the progress taking place in the world and become consumers. We have not provided intellectual production related to creativity or the ability for innovative production that... It is the goal of ideal philosophy from my point of view.
If Plato, the founder of ideal philosophy, believed that there is another world other than this world in which we live, which is the eternal and immortal nature and fixed personal values and ideas, and that man is composed of a body and a soul, and the more the body overpowers the spirit, the closer the person is to animality and the self and desires overpower him, and vice versa, we see Aristotle. In realist philosophy, John Locke looks at the world from a different perspective. Realism believes that the mind is not the source of facts, as idealism claims. It believes that the senses are responsible for reaching those facts and that the tangible reality imposes itself on the mind. It believes that the source of values and morals is not far from reality.
Based on what was mentioned above, I see that idealism must start from reality and adhere to noble values and morals and the teachings of heavenly religions. I see exaltation and transcendence as one of the psychological defense mechanisms to create adaptation and balance, which is the ideal ideal without compromising on the satisfaction of human desires and needs.
